ROOTS was a devised movement thesis piece for Will Edelson and Ken Yotsukura. They pitched the idea of a devised movement, nature, and projections piece which pulled me into creating preliminary designs and eventually designing for their piece.
The devised process included seeing reactions to a lot of different sounds and stimuli, eventually building off of those to create the final piece. It was supplemented with explorations in nature as well as pieces brought in by the collaborators.
